ITF's archive was previously held on-premises, across various locations and formats by different third parties.

The ITF never used their archive as they couldn't access their content easily; retrieval was problematic, time-consuming and expensive as their Archive partners charged per access.

Imagen are helping the ITF digitise their content and inform it, with a view to creating a central, accessible archive. The platform will be the first time the ITF will have ownership and free access to their archive and will rely on Imagen to help them store future content and reatin ownership of their growing legacy.

The Premier League previously relied on manual media request fulfilments pulling archive media from digital tapes when broadcasters asked for historical content.

In 2016, US Broadcaster NBC bought the distribution rights to broadcast the 2016/2017 season in the US for USD $1bn. Eager to promote their new offering, they wanted to create a trailer ahead of the season.

Unable to offerr access to a central repository to self-serve archive content, the Premier League decided to better serve their broadcast partners with exclusive access to all their historic moments. Imagen provides a full archive service hosting over 1 Petabyte of content, 15,000 hours of media, replicated across three locations for fast worldwide access.

Since adopting Imagen, IMG and Premier League have worked together to expand Premier League's offering to broadcasters, with better logged content, working together to create the Imagen Media Logger tool, offer remote logging services and provide extra services to the clubs within the League.
